Our Wedding

Our story begins in August of 2015 where we met for the first time at Walltown Children's Theatre for a read-through of the script for The Durham Nutcracker. Axel was reading for the part of the main male role of David and Jade was a dancer for the Durham Nutcracker. We slowly began a friendship of being there for each other and really getting to know each other. In October of 2014 we began dating at 14 and 16, and began a long journey of friendship, growth, and love. We dated until fall of 2019 where in between the years we shared holidays, birthdays and big life events as young teens. We attended Axel's prom and graduation from high school and beginning processes of college acceptances; Attending the Oxford program at Emory in Atlanta in 2017. We also attended Jade's dance performances and competitions, prom and high school graduation; All while maintaining our relationship as a young couple. In fall of 2019 we decided to part ways and remain friends throughout the years, sending support from the sidelines and in April of 2023 Axel and Jade began getting to know each other again and growing together as two young adults. In January of 2025 we began the process of moving forward in life together and began planning our wedding. And now here we are 10 years later, getting married. Cheers to a lifetime of hope, prosperity, love, abundance and gratitude!

We thank you in advance for celebrating with us but as well as celebrating, we thank you for being safe and in that regards we have blocked off about 20 rooms under the name "Nava" for October 24th, 2025 and October 25th, 2025. Please be aware that this is a Courtesy block off meaning the newly weds are not responsible for payment of the rooms. If you happen to be in need of a room the night of our wedding please let us know by the week of our wedding.
