Our love story has a few beginnings, the main beginning is us meeting at Southern University. Jordan played baseball and Jade played softball. They went on their first date to the movies where Jordan asked "do you think it's cheap if I pay with gift cards?" Jade's response was pulling out more gift cards saying "if you get the tickets, I can get the snacks!" Little did Jade know, Jordan already kind of knew who Jade was.

Through the years they learned more about themselves. At one point they lived less than 5 minutes from each other and had no idea. Played on the same soccer team (if you can imagine Jade playing soccer) and had no idea! And the final part that Jordan will never let Jade forget! The year was 2011 and during a game where Cabrini was playing Ursuline, Jade had a great game! 3 for 4 and making all types of 'clutch' plays in left field. Well who was on the left field side with his friends but Jordan yelling "Yeah 25! you go clutch!". Jade had no idea what clutch meant, but her teammates assured her that mean she was kicking ass! Later on that night Jordan messaged Jade over Facebook and then had the courage to ask for her number. Jade then left him on read (on accident! she insists because she had no idea how to talk to guys and got nervous!)

10 years and countless of Saints games, Jazz Fests, ball games, and vacations, Jordan decided it was time. He booked them a trip to Washington DC since that's one of Jade's favorite places! In the hotel room as they were getting ready for dinner Jordan dropped on one knee and asked Jade the question. At first Jade thought he got a cramp in his ankle since he sprained it the week before. When she realized he was asking her THE question she caught her breath and said yes! The rest is history (and her-story)!
