Yes! Your phone just needs to be unlocked. If it isn’t, check international phone plans with your company before traveling. The easiest is for you to make sure you have cash on you (they usually take euros), or take out money (dirhams) at baggage claim. Get a small amount there because the exchange rates aren't great. There are multiple kiosks right outside of baggage claim (no ATMS though so make sure you have cash), and you can get a regular sim or E-sim with a good amount of internet for 5 - 10 dollars depending on how many days you're staying and how much you'll be using your internet.

Taxis are everywhere, you can also download the app Indrive which is their equivalent to Uber in France and the US. Prices are extremely affordable compared to what we pay for rides in the West. You can also rent a car while you're there. The medina to our venue is approximately 10-15 dollars.

I personally use grapefruit seed extract from amazon or a bio store in France! It protects your stomach if you're not used to traveling and usually helps prevent food poisoning. One of the safest ways to avoid food poisoning (la tourista) while traveling is to make sure you eat well cooked foods. This obviously depends on how sensitive your stomach is. Some are fine with salads, some aren't. Morocco has amazing pharmacies with affordable medication compared to US prices Also, don’t drink tap water!!

This is up to you! We don't have a dress code. A few people have reached out to me about finding traditional Moroccan attires to wear. I recommend getting to Marrakech a day or two early so you can go do some shopping in the souks to find your perfect attire! It's affordable, and they have so many beautiful options to choose from.

We do! We don’t have many gifts on the list, just a few. We mostly need help with wedding in NYC/moving/visa costs. We are also adopting a dog we rescued from Morocco so we appreciate help towards those costs as well 🤍

This is a symbolic ceremony representing our love. We will get married legally in New York at the court house, but wanted to have a celebration beforehand so both our families overseas can attend and celebrate our love with us. Thank you for joining us!
