I was sent to Camp Merrill in late 2020 from Korea. The camp isn’t very far from Dahlonega Square and the college, so naturally we all partied there with friends we made. I was at a house party with the boys when a girl in a white Dodge Challenger pulled up front. I’m really into cars so when I saw it was a girl I thought it was pretty cool. One of my favorite “motovloggers” used to wear yellow camouflage pants to match his yellow motorcycle. Shawty showed up in the YELLOW CAMO PANTS. I though it was cool as hell and a bold fashion choice. I ended up literally ruining her in a game of beer pong. She played with confidence even in a huge defeat so I thought that was fun too. I didn’t end up actually talking to her too much but was able to find her Instagram and start talking to her. Shortly after we got some McDonald’s and found ourselves drifting in a huge parking lot with my boy. She’s by far the most wonderful person I could’ve asked for and I feel very blessed to have her and her family in my life now almost two years later. She’s also super lucky to have a stud like myself.

As all modern day love stories start, we met at a party. Playing beer pong. Then comes the instagram follows, exchanged snapchats, and Mcdonald’s runs.
Our first real date was spent thrift shopping, playing arcade games, and drifting our cars in the snow with friends. These are things that have remained staples through the entirety of our relationship. The start of “us” is very fitting to who we are. We’re always the hosts, down to party, and up for an adventure.
From very early on we spent most of our time together and wouldn’t have it any other way. Garrison, thank you for pushing me, supporting me, and understanding me. Forever thankful to have you as my best friend, and how cool to officially be able to call you my husband. My favorite place will always be wherever you are.
