The Hatcher Pass lodge is a beautiful place to check out. We recommend going up there to hike either in the mountains or at the Independence Mine (great activity for kids). Stop at the lodge afterwards for a drink or lunch after exploring the moutains. If you have a full day, driving over Hatcher Pass and heading out to Talkeetna is fun outing.

This series of hiking and mountain biking trails is also the site of our wedding! We recommend getting out there to check it out, either by foot or bike :)
