We met on social media back on February 4th, 2020. I (Jade) was running a fan page for an artist (NF) that we both really enjoy. Ethan started following the page and sent me a message. I responded and we messaged back and forth for a bit.

As time went on we'd hear from each other every few weeks or so. The more we talked, the more we realized we had a lot in common. We quickly became really close friends and talked daily.

After much convincing (from Ethan) we had our first phone call. Which, lead to many phone calls and Facetime calls.

Fast forward to October of 2022 Ethan drove 16 hours ( from NY to IA) to come meet me in person. He met the family and they all got along really well with him. Shortly into the trip we made our relationship official. Before we knew it, it was time for Ethan to head back to NY. This was the start of our long distance relationship, a thousand miles apart.

The photo above was our first picture together. It was taken shortly before we parted ways for the first of many times.

In April of 2023 we met in Ohio and I got to meet some of the family. Once again the two families clicked and got along really well.

That summer I flew out to NY for the first time and got to meet the rest of the family. We all made some great memories together!

It was a bit last minute, but Ethan invited me to come out to NY for thanksgiving. Little did I know that I'd leave there as a fiancée! On November 11, 2024 he got down on one knee.

We're having a blast planning for our big day! We can hardly wait to serve the Lord as a married couple!
