Jade and David’s story is one that wasn’t made by chance. The Lord saw two of the funniest people on earth and decided to put them together. Just kidding!In 2022, David moved to Chillicothe for work; his plan was to stay in the area for 1 year and then attend Chiropractic school in South Carolina. Little did David know, the person he was about to meet would have him wanting to stay in the area a little longer than he had planned. During the time of David's relocation, the Lord had been preparing Jade for battle… I mean the relationship.Jade was told that there were ‘new brothers’ attending the church and that the younger one was a lot like her. One evening, she was able to meet the oldest brother (Jon) at church, but not David; he was somewhere roaming the halls. What Jade didn’t know, was that while talking with Jon, David had seen her from across the room and thought she was really pretty.After a while, they were able to meet at a group ‘putt-putt’ event where neither one really talked to the other. Jade did recall laughing at a lot of David’s jokes. Later, Jade's best friend, Hannah, gave her the bright idea to message David on social media and ask him questions for her public speaking class; this is what sparked it all. They began a friendship late in 2022 and then David asked Jade to be his girlfriend at the start of 2023. After about 2 1/2 years of dating, Jade and David were engaged in the spring of 2025.God so evidently displayed his providential hand, endless goodness, and boundless love to Jade and David leading up to and in their relationship. There's so much about their story that wouldn't have happened if Jade and David had not been walking with the Lord or listening to His voice.It’s fun to look back and see the Lord's hand at work in both their lives; how a guy from Elko, Nevada moved to Greenville, South Carolina, then to Chillicothe, Ohio, where he met the love of his life. Now that’s a hallmark movie you don’t want to miss;)Jade and David are continuously thankful for the Lord's providence, merciful goodness, and never-ending love.
