Our first date was the moment everything changed—it was the day we made it official and started writing our story together. There was something so natural and easy about being with each other, like we’d known each other forever. We laughed, talked for hours, and didn’t want the night to end. That night wasn’t just a beginning; it was a feeling of certainty, of knowing we had found something real. Looking back, it’s amazing to see how far we’ve come from that first date to now, building a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Our first prom was one of those unforgettable nights that felt straight out of a movie. From getting ready and taking all the cheesy photos to dancing the night away together, everything about it felt magical. We were dressed to the nines, but what really made the night special was just being with each other—laughing, holding hands, and soaking in every moment. It was the kind of night that marked the beginning of so many more memories to come, and looking back, it’s still one of my favorite chapters in our story.

Supporting each other in sports has always been a huge part of our relationship. Whether it was cheering from the sidelines, celebrating wins, or picking each other up after tough losses, we were always each other’s biggest fans. We understood the dedication, the pressure, and the passion that came with being athletes, and that made our bond even stronger. Through every practice, game, and season, we showed up for one another.

Celebrating holidays together quickly became one of our favorite traditions. Whether it was decorating the tree, baking cookies, or watching our favorite holiday movies for the hundredth time, every moment felt more special because we were sharing it. We blended our traditions, made new ones of our own, and found so much joy in the little things—like matching pajamas or late-night gift wrapping. No matter the season, being together turned every holiday into something warm, meaningful, and full of love.

Watching Justin every Friday night was one of my favorite parts of the week while I was in school—being there to support him in something he truly loved meant so much to me. One of the strongest aspects of our relationship has always been the unwavering support we give each other, and those Friday nights were a perfect reminder of that.

We then became a little family by adding Tobi, our first dog, and truly my soulmate in fur. From the second we brought him home, it felt like he was always meant to be part of our lives. He’s been my shadow and my other source of joy on even the hardest days. Although he has beef with several people, Tobi is the most loyal companion to Justin and I.

Our first concert together, we went to country fest where we got to watch our favorite artist perform and it was truly amazing, I had never been to a concert before and I was in utter disbelieve at how fun they could be. I am so glad I got to experience that moment with Justin.

New addition to our little family. This was definitely the biggest test yet, we weren't sure how Tobi would handle it, and quite frankly it was actually terrible at first. Tobi ran and hit underneath the carseat when we picked up Luna and wanted nothing to do with her. I took a few weeks for Tobi to get used to her and they eventually became besties. Luna has got to be the dumbest dog I have ever seen but I wouldn't trade her for the world (Justin might not agree).

The day of our engagement was pure magic one of those moments that felt both surreal and completely perfect. everything about it was filled with love and intention. The look in his eyes, the words spoken, and that life-changing question made time stand still. Saying "yes" felt like the most natural thing in the world, a promise to a future we’ve both dreamed about. That day marked the beginning of forever, and it’s a memory we’ll hold close in our hearts for the rest of our lives.
