The original spark behind our beautiful madness. She’s working on a PhD in astrophysics, but somehow already has an honorary one in matchmaking — since she’s the reason we met (and the reason you’re reading this website).

Madisen Johnson

Future fighter pilot in training, heartthrob in denial. He looks like he walked off a Navy recruitment poster, but don’t let the steely stare fool you. Deep down, he’s a softie with a heart of gold. Top Gun is technically a romance, after all.

Jake Swanson

Jaden's favorite cousin, but basically little sister. A college freshman and future art teacher with enough pride flags to start her own United Nations. She's looked up to Jaden since the days of doll weddings and sleepovers — and now she’s by her side for the real thing.

Taylor Richter

Jaden's longtime friend, drafted as "Coach" to carry Chris in Valorant. She and the groom are always sharing food creations, and when she’s not gaming or cooking, she’s coding away as a software developer—no AI required, she's smarter than the computer.

Nicole Recupero

Known for his Godzilla obsession and ginormous cosplays, he's bravely ventured outside of his room to make an appearance at the wedding. He doesn't drink, but for his sister, he'll make an exception— but don’t expect a round two.

AJ Sadorf

Chris' brother, a Coast Guard coxswain who spends his fated days huntin’ smugglers and wayward souls upon the brine, quietly hoping someone gives him a reason to shoot. Single, mustached, and when he’s not doggin’ some poor bastard’s wake, he’s spying on birds like a proper sea dog.

Joey Machtel

New Jersey Cowboy. He's a frequent gambler, a tall Asian powerhouse, and single. First date at Texas Roadhouse. Phone number available upon request. 

Derek Wang

Your walking buddy at 3AM. He's fluent in Russian and is heading towards some deep, dark places (submarine level dark, however deep that is). Gibbon's Choice 2024.

Max Janke

A toddler but already contesting for the loudest voice in the family. He's got main character energy, zero shame, and the kind of charm that only an IVF baby could bring. LET'S GO!

Will the wedding be indoors?

With weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outside, behind the reception building.

An 8 minute walk from the venue and 12 minute drive from the Milwaukee airport. Book online with the link or call and request a room (Sadorf and Machtel Wedding Group Block). Rooms must be booked before April 29th, 2026.
