A few weeks before Dylan and Jadyn met, Bingo was being held at Ringsted. That night Shane, Bill, and Izac met a friend of Shelby and Jimmy's at the Ringsted bar and all thought she was super cool. At some point Shane boldly asked Jadyn where her boyfriend was. To which Jadyn replied that she was single. All 3 immediately knew after Jadyn's answer they had to tell me the next day.

Shane, Bill, and Izac walked into Dylan's office at the same time giggling like little kids. All 3 said they met a lady for me to meet at some point. I looked Jadyn up on Facebook at that time out of curiosity and agreed to meet her.

A couple weeks later on a Friday, Jimmy said Jadyn was going with him and Shelby to the Armstrong golf course and I agreed to meet them there. I walked in about an hour or so after they showed up and my eyes immediately were drawn to Jadyn and my stomach was filled up with butterflies. She was absolutely B-E-A-utiful! I was introduced to her and was speechless. Which if you know me, that's a rare thing. About 20 minutes later Shane and Sabrina walk in and ask me what I think and I loudly said she is beautiful. I tried a few times to spark up a conversation across the table from Jadyn but couldn't say much as the bar was loud and I didn't want to make an ass of myself. As the night went on I had a few drinks and then noticed that Jimmy, Shelby, and Jadyn were about to leave. As they went up to pay, Shane leans over and says, Are you going to say anything to her? I then stood up quick and loudly said "Jadyn, can I give you my number I would like to go out on a date with you?" Thankfully after that she said yes!

She text me the next morning and I was thrilled because I totally thought I made an ass out of myself. We got to texting and she agreed to have a supper date at my "house". At the time I lived in a cheap trailer. About an hour before she came over, I was playing with Duke and somehow dropped my phone and it shattered the front screen. Unable to do anything with it but use Google text to talk for an hour. So for about an hour I was nervously waiting and cooking at the same time. Thankfully I didn't burn the steaks or anything. After an hour of nervously waiting without a phone she showed up and I was thrilled! Then the rest is history as they say!

It all started on a Thursday night in January. Our regular bingo shenanigans were coming to an end when my close friends, Shelby and Jimmy Cronk, told me about a guy named Dylan that Jimmy went to high school with and works with. Jimmy told Jadyn minimal details so she “wouldn’t freak out” before hand as they invited her to get together the next night at the golf course in Armstrong. I had met other coworkers of Dylan’s previously and had a hoot, so I was easily convinced. Regardless of Jimmy’s efforts of letting the suspense build, I Facebook stalked him and saw he had a cute dog, so he checked the box! … and Iowa Courts Online ...he checked clean record off the list as well!


Friday night rolled in, and so did my nerves as I went to the golf course. Dylan made a purposeful grand entrance to gain my attention, aka coming an hour late, something he may never admit! As we sat across the table, I said hi and introduced myself, knowing that Jimmy and his coworkers had already told him who I was. We didnt chat much because it was loud in there, but we made eye contact throughout the night and had minimal conversation.


Dylan supposedly yelled “I Just want to talk to the cute girl at the table” but of course, I didn’t hear him! The night came to an end, and as everyone was paying, Dylan proceeded to yell, so the WHOLE BAR could hear “Jadyn, I want to give you my number so we can go on a date!” While red in the face, I
agreed.


While I tried to play it cool, I texted Dylan at 8 am the next morning, testing him to see if he recalled how bold he was asking me out for everyone to hear. He did in fact remember and said he didnt want me to leave without his number.


We had our first “date” the following Friday at his trailer. I remember the next morning I was already texting my friends and telling them about Dylan and how great he was., needless to say I was swoon..and the rest is history!
