Our Wedding

Four years ago, on February 14th, we had our very first date (hence the wedding date!). Our story actually began a little bit before that, with lots of FaceTime calls due to Covid and various quarantines. On our date, we went to our top-secret spot and shared our very first kiss! Just five days later, teenagers being teenagers, we became boyfriend and girlfriend. We went on to spend an annoyingly amount of time together (just annoying to our parents). We met each other's families and realized we were meant to meet one another. The invisible string theory definitely fits our story perfectly — knowing each other before actually knowing each other.We graduated high school in 2022, and shortly after, we signed a lease for our apartment in September 2022. That very apartment being just down the road from what would become our home two years later.We made the apartment our home for two years and enjoyed every moment of it. In the summer of 2024, we worked on our future home with a lot of help from family members. We officially made it ours in October 2024, after putting so much love, sweat (lots of sweat), and tears into it! It only took a couple of weeks for us to want to add to the family, so we adopted our baby, Ferris. We’ve loved sharing the home we both cherish so much. We’ve slowly made this house a home — still some boxes to unpack, but so much love to fill each room.For our four-year anniversary, we decided to take a much-needed trip to Atlanta, Georgia, to celebrate. When we arrived, Jonathon popped the question, and the obvious answer was YES!! We arrived in Georgia as boyfriend and girlfriend and left as fiancés. We began wedding planning and decided on February 14th, 2026! We also decided to add to the family again with another pup, Benson! He, of course, is “helping” with the wedding planning (he’s sleeping as I’m writing this).We cannot wait to celebrate our invisible string and our love with all of you. We thank each and every one of you for being a part of our story in ANY chapter you were part of!!With that, cheers to the future Mr. &amp; Mrs. Heldberg!!!!
