Our Wedding

Our story starts as a classic tale of two unlucky in love individuals giving love another shot and meeting on hinge. The beginning of our relationship was tested through health challenges that kept us apart for a month and some growing pains of learning to trust again. However, Jahrian was willing to give it his all and planned thoughtful, sweet dates to museums, dinners, and broadway allowing Victoria to feel like she could lower her walls as well. Victoria was excited to learn more about anime, superheros, and video games (though she still struggles with the controls) and Jahrian was excited to learn about theatre, being a dog dad, and trying bolognese. As our time together continued we both quickly realized we wanted to spend the rest of their lives together, we both felt truly valued and that we had met the best person. We have gotten to enjoy birthday spa trips together, trips to Hershey, sharing a dog and living together and cannot wait to start our lives as husband and wife!

Jonathan, better known as Jon is the type of guy to put others first and himself second. During this wedding he will be doing it again to make sure Jahrian and Victoria are well taken care of.

With sophisticated grace she will make sure that not a single hair is out of place on Victoria's head.

Favorite cousin of the Groom. Akeem has been there since childhood laughing and creating messes with Jahrian.  As most likely the tallest person to attend this wedding Akeem will overlook the venue and make sure everything is in order.

Friend of the couple and life long BFF of the bride.  Megan and Victoria go as far back as kindergarten and she is one of the most loyal people you will ever meet in your life. Come to her for tips to make the most out of the buffet and to make sure your hairstyle stays perfect on this super sunny day.

Yephte is the travel specialist of the groomsmen.  Also known as the Grand Stepper, Yephte got that dog in him.  If you need destination or flight advice: Yephte is the man with the plan.

Long time friend of the groom, Carlis is the martial artist. A pseudo bodyguard Carlis will make everyone feel safe. A drink maker himself, Carlis can give you drink recommendations to get you on the dance floor.

Friend of the couple and life long cousin of the bride. Nicole is the fashionista you should go to for all of your best angles and fashion needs. Nicole is thoughtful and always knows how to make the bride feel special. Come to her for questions about St.Lucia.

Julian has a great sense of style. If you want recommendations on your outfit choices for the Caribbean he's your man. A caribbean man himself, Julian is ready for the sun, beach and nice breeze.

Friend of the couple and life long sister of the Groom.  One of our most welcoming bridesmaids will make sure that every guest feels included and important to the Bride and Groom.  A star chef herself you can be sure to ask her for tips on what to put on your plate.

Ralph is Mr.Serious.  Like Yephte, Ralph is the Big Stepper.  When you need an ear and someone to talk to Ralph is the guy. A voice actor in the making, ask Ralph to do some impressions for a good laugh.

Friend of the couple. Cintya has been a long term friend of Jahrian's and Victoria connected with her immediately upon their introduction. Cintya knows how to turn the party up so if any of you plan on sticking to the wall or your chair, be prepared for Cintya to make certain she sees you on the dancefloor instead.

Skye is the person you need in your corner to hold you down.  If you need the right poses for your pictures Skye is the guy to go to. Stay tuned for the reception him and Akeem will be seeing who can eat the most.

Hotel Room Blocks: January 14th to the 18th 2027. The Welcome Party: January 15th 2027 7pm (beach formal attire) The Wedding: January 16th 2027 starting at 4pm, cocktail hour and reception to follow. (Majority of the wedding will be on the beach, please wear appropriate footwear for the sand) Sunday January 17th 2027: Sunday brings a full day of adventure as we set out on a private charter boat to explore the beauty of St. Lucia. We’ll snorkel in crystal-clear waters, swim in hidden coves, visit a breathtaking waterfall, and experience the island’s famous Sulphur Springs mud baths. It’s the perfect way to relax, celebrate, and soak in the magic of an unforgettable weekend together.
