Dallas joined the Joel Pingeon Trucking, Inc. fleet in November 2015. JPT employs Jaime's brother Adam and sister-in-law Marisa, and well, it didn't take them too long to get the idea that Dallas and Jaime needed to meet.

One night in early April 2016, Jaime's Snapchat was flooded with snaps from Adam, Marisa, Brian, and Joel of this handsome young gentleman with messages such as "Come over, you need to meet this fella." It was brushed off until one day.

April 22, 2016 became the day Jaime left Dallas speechless. Jaime and Ashley had gone to Chankaska Winery and decided to stop at the Ridin' High Saloon in Cobden. We had both sent out the infamous "Cobden?" message to many friends. After awhile, Brian shows up with an unfamiliar face which turned out to be "the" Dallas that I was supposed to meet....and well...we finally met!

For those of you who know Dallas, he's always got a comment and chimes in on the conversations....except for that night. Brian even asked, "What's wrong with you?" He seemed to be awestruck that I left him speechless.

We all got to visiting and it was decided that I should join the crew for a motorcycle ride the next day since Dallas had an extra seat. I was hesitant since I had never ridden and knew there was plenty to be done on the farm but said "Yes, as long as I am home in time for evening chores."

Well Saturday morning rolled around and I found herself on the back of a Harley Davidson in which I fell for both the bike and the boy!

Dallas returned back to the crew in New Ulm after dropping Jaime off at the farm and they all asked, "Are you pregnant? Or are you in love? You are glowing!"

Neither of us ever believed it until that moment that love at first sight is possible! God works in magnificent ways and we are so thankful that he allowed our paths to cross in His timing.

A week after I met Dallas, he took me on a date to enjoy Happy Joe's pizza! On the way home that night, we pulled the truck off on a gravel road and Dallas officially asked me to become his girlfriend. Now this man is very respectful since that is a rare question to be asked these days.

In May, I was applying for my current position as the Brown County 4-H Program Coordinator and Dallas was my biggest supporter through it all; listening to my presentation, asking me questions to help me prepare for the interview, and never doubting in my capabilities. I think that is what I appreciate about him the most is that he is my biggest fan, always encouraging me to do my best.

Come the weekend of the 4th of July, we ventured west on a couples weekend with Brian and Ashley to the Black Hills. A great time was had by all! It was on the ride back home as we were coming across the wheat covered fields of Highway 14 that I leaned forward and whispered in Dallas' ear, "I am without a doubt in love with you!" Dallas' response, "You said it first but I love you too!"

If you haven't figured it out yet, we both enjoy traveling. We took the couples weekend to the Black Hills, headed up to the North Shore for my September birthday and got our steps in hiking to see all the waterfalls and being hushed to sleep by the waves of Lake Superior hitting the shoreline while the fireplace flickered all night, and then for Dallas' February birthday we headed to see Aunt June in beautiful Whitefish, MT.

Our trip to Montana will be one we'll never forget as we spent two days skiing before we started snowshoeing across the hay field behind June's condo when Dallas dropped to one knee and asked me to become his wife!
