Union station is much more than a stop on the Amtrak. They have Science City, the Planetarium, Model train gallery, Theatre performances, the Regnier Extreme Screen Movie Theatre, and exhibitions that frequently. A brand new one will be debuting at the beginning of October!

This event is a local favorite. The crossroads district is transformed into an outdoor art festival on the first Friday of the month. There are galleries and artist studios featuring exhibits from local, national, and international artists; booths from locally owned restaurants & local craft breweries, distilleries, and wineries; eclectic shops; multiple alley displaying street art; and a food truck plaza. It gets busy and parking can be difficult...suggestion: take the KC Streetcar.
