Jaimee and I met camping amidst the beauty of Northern New Mexico in the Spring of 2012.
We were volunteering on an Earthship construction site. I immediately fell for her and she literally fell on me when the wind pushed her over with a piece of plywood. I wooed her with food I prepared out of the back of my Subaru and sang her songs across the campfire.
It was a whirlwind of a couple weeks before Jaimee boarded the train back to Chicago. She stole my heart, when we reunited a year later I woke from the dead and knew we had to stay together.
We first lived together in a funky house called The Laughing Horse, then on a mountainside overlooking Taos before moving to the west coast. We’ve traveled across the country selling Jaimee’s tiny paintings and made many stops to see wonderful people and places along the way.
It’s been an incredible 10 years we’ve been together, we’re so lucky and really looking forward to celebrating with all of you!
