In June of 2023, Jake and Macie were at The Score restaurant when Jake approached Macie and her girlfriends at a table. They kindly let him join them for a drink when Jake asked Macie if she would go out with him she said “I have a boyfriend.” After the summer passed they were both single and frustrated with dating until reconnecting on a dating app the very same day of downloading the app. It was clear that God had a plan for them all along. They quickly hit it off becoming best friends and putting Christ at the center of their relationship. On Dec. 29, 2024 in Naples beach in Florida Jake asked Macie to be his wife she undoubtedly said yes and was caught by surprise. Some of their favorite activities include, boating, golfing, going to the beach, playing pickleball, going to Jake’s parent’s cottage, watching sports and spending time with family and friends. We thank God for his glorious plan to bring us together, for our family and friends in our lives.
