Jake's Answer - We recommend men wear suits with button ups and women wear their best dresses. Go with your classic fall colors, leaning on the darker side rather than lighter. We are also fine if you want to be classy/country and wear your boots and button downs if you can wear the part!
The ceremony will take place in grass, with the reception area where you will encounter concrete and/or gravel, so please wear something you can walk over all types of terrains with! Women, be cautious of wearing high heels or be willing to carry them for a brief period through rough patches and put them back on at the reception barn.
Spencer's answer - I'm telling the bartender not to serve anyone wearing jeans, cargo ANYTHING, a t-shirt, or an untucked shirt (unless you are in the thralls of dance and liquor, that's different). And don't even THINK about sneakers (Cowboy boots may be approved on a case-by-case basis). I wanna see some Dapper-ass Dans out there. Love ya'll can't wait!
Jake's Answer - Outside of immediate family, we are trying to have as much of a kid-free wedding as possible. We understand that isn't always the most convenient situation, so if it would not be possible for you to attend the wedding without your kids, reach out to us and we can talk about it on a case by case basis!
Spencer's Answer -I want your kids to not come so damn badly that I will personally pay your babysitting fee for the night, plus a generous tip *winks* added for making good decisions. tldr: Should you bring your kid? We are having a large wedding and are trying to keep it filled with people that know us and who we know, but if you've been with this person for a while, they are definitely invited or feel free to reach out to us if they aren't listed.
Spencer's Answer - Do you know how much weddings cost? No Really. Do you? I actually don't know. Jake's handling all that pesky little "budget" stuff. But I know its not cheap! So if you've been dating, and I mean DATING, for less than 3 months, heavily reconsider whether or not this person will age well in our wedding photos.
