By the time the wedding rolls around, Jake and I will have been together for nearly 7 years. Jeez, we're old.

It all started on a cold, dark December night in 2015. Brynn had a basketball game in Aitkin, and although she had a lot of heart for the game, she wasn't necessarily the team's top player— she was much better at socializing with the folks sitting at the end of the bench with her... Including Marc Carley, who is Jake's dad.

Being the stellar son that Jake is. he would tag along with his dad, who happens to be a physical sports therapist, to various games and keep him company here and there. Brynn wasn't necessarily shy when it came to talking to Jake during these various basketball games. She would whip around in her seat and make sure that Jake was clapping and cheering when it was appropriate, as well as offer him a portion of whatever snack she ended up eating on the bench throughout the game that night.

Although at the time, Brynn was dating her high school boyfriend. Months later, Jake moved to college and the two simply became star-crossed lovers.

As time went by, Brynn eventually became back on the market and the cute boy from the basketball bench never entirely left her mind.

Based off of a simple dare conducted by Maggi (Brynn's longtime friend and MOH), Brynn was dared to message Jake the Cute Boy from the Basketball Games on Instagram.

Since then, they've gone on several trips, moved Brynn to six differed houses/apartments, hung out with Stella almost every week, and listened to a ton of ABBA. If you ask us, we think we're a match made in heaven.
