We will be getting married at the beautiful Tulpehocken Manor, located at 648 W Lincoln Ave, Myerstown, PA 17067. In addition to serving as a gorgeous wedding venue, it is believed that George Washington stayed in this house on three separate occasions!
You can check out the Manor after the ceremony, but please note, both the ceremony and reception will be outside on grass, so keep that in mind when choosing your shoes!
With unlimited funds we would have invited the whole world to our wedding. Unfortunately, we have to stick to a guest limit. We've only reserved seats for the guests listed on your invitations and online RSVP's.
We want each and every one of you to live a little, let your hair down, and have a great night. But it's tough to do that if you're constantly looking after your little ones. Book a babysitter and have a ball, you deserve it!
Our ceremony will be semi-formal. For men, that means a blazer or a 2-piece suit with matching dress pants, a dress shirt, and a tie. Please skip the jeans, t-shirts and hats.
For women, that means at least a knee-length dress or what Paige likes to call a "power suit."
Feel free to rock any pattern or color, except white (unless you want Paige to give you the side-eye all night).
This will not be your traditional wedding when it comes to food. You do not need to make any selections ahead of time. We will have three different food stations available for you to try. They are:
1- Pasta bar.
2- Taco station.
3- Cajun station.
Feel free to pick your favorite, or try a little of everything! If you have any dietary restrictions, Jake feels your pain. We'll have a form you can fill out on our online RSVP that we can pass along to our caterer.
We know that you all have high-quality cameras in your pockets. But we want you to soak in the ceremony without looking through a phone screen. We've enlisted the help of some really talented people to take pictures and videos of the big day so you don't have to worry about capturing the perfect picture yourself. Plus, if Paige catches you with your phone, iPad, or camera out, she's promised to revoke your cupcake privileges.
Keep a lookout for our Record Player Guest Book at the venue. Please be sure to sign the records in front of the record player to etch your name into our future home decor!
Please know that gifts are absolutely not necessary. But if you wish to give a gift, we ask that you choose one of the items listed in our registry. Many of these choices are not physical items, they are experiences we hope to have on our honeymoon to the UK. If you'd rather write a check, please know that Paige is not changing her name. So please make any checks payable to Paige Mealing or Jacob Gillespie.
There's something you may not know about Paige. Deep under her country music-loving exterior lies the heart of a hip hop/rap connoisseur. Therefore, the final hour of our reception will feel more like the atmosphere of a New York nightclub. If that's not your thing, Jake totally understands. We won't be offended if you want to hit the road before Trap Hour gets underway.
