Jake and Hannah met at Cedarville University, a small Christian school in the cornfields of Ohio. Jake saw Hannah for the first time at a chapel service in the spring of 2022. Hannah was singing on stage looking beautiful as ever. Astonished by her beauty and remarkable voice, Jake proceeded to ask around and figure out who this incredible woman was. After finding her on social media the two followed each other. Shortly after, Jake managed to build up the courage to reach out and the two met up for coffee/smoothies (given that Hannah didn't like coffee back then). Hours felt like seconds together. The two continued to hang out, go on dates, and talk for the rest of the semester and summer. Conversations would last for hours, sometimes even till 2 or 3 in the morning. They got to know one another's personalities, likes, dislikes, hobbies, dreams, and aspirations, but most importantly one another's relationship with the Lord.

On July 29th Jake asked Hannah to be his girlfriend and the dating relationship began. Since then, Hannah and Jake have both been through the highs and lows of life, good times and bad. Supporting, loving, and growing closer to one another, and above all else, growing closer to the Lord as individuals. Both have a passion to love and serve others. They enjoy adventure, sports, music, movies and so much more. They love each other dearly and see how the Lord has worked in their lives since meeting one another, giving them full confidence in this next step of life. Both will tell you that there is no greater confidence in choosing to spend this earthly life together than the other evidently driving you closer to Christ rather than pulling you away. Jake and Hannah took the next step towards commitment on July 29, 2023, becoming officially engaged and they continue to grow in their love for one another. The two are extremely excited to get married and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store!
