Jake and MaKenna met at a friend’s wedding, where MaKenna was a bridesmaid, and Jake was an usher.

August 11th, 2023

The next weekend, Jake asked MaKenna out on their first date. The weekend after that, MaKenna invited Jake to a concert—where Jake asked her to be his girlfriend… for the first time.

August 27th, 2023

Jake asked MaKenna to be his girlfriend for the second time, and she finally said yes. They began their long-distance relationship with Jake living in Humphrey and MaKenna living in Omaha.

September 4th, 2023

Jake met MaKenna’s family while spending a day together at the lake.

November 19th, 2023

Jake and MaKenna took their first trip together with friends, heading to Wisconsin to watch the Huskers.

December 25th, 2023

We spent our first Christmas together

They traveled to Florida for a CASE IH convention, and soon after, Jake moved to Norfolk.

We took a trip to Mexico with MaKenna’s family, and MaKenna moved to Norfolk.
