About the couple!
Jake is currently finishing his biology degree with minors in both chemistry and coaching at the University of Northern Iowa. He has enjoyed 4 1/2 years of playing football as a linebacker for the Panthers! Katie is currently in the Dental Hygiene program at Hawkeye Community College. The couple enjoys working out, watching football and basketball together, and eating out at their favorite restaurants. They plan to live together in Cedar Falls after the wedding on June 29th to finish up their schooling!

Jake and Katie met on November 2, 2019. They were introduced through Katie's high school friend and Jake's college roommate. Jake volunteered to give Katie a ride back to her car across the UNI campus. Throughout that short car ride, their small talk revealed they had a lot in common. As they were saying their goodbyes Katie decided to ask Jake for his phone number. The rest is history!
