Q + A

When should I RSVP by?

The latest we can accept your response is May 18th, 2024. Please send your RSVP as soon as you can! If we do not receive a response by this date, it will be marked as a "No." We will miss you celebrating with us; however, we must promptly provide the total guest count to the venue and we cannot accept late RSVPs past this point. We hope you understand.

Do I have a plus one?

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, they appear under your name when you RSVP. If someone cannot attend on your list, please note this does not mean you can replace them with a separate guest in their place.

Are kids welcome?

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate children at our wedding. This pertains to children of all ages including infants, toddlers, kids, and teens. We hope that you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the party with us!

When should I arrive? What do I do if I'm late to the ceremony?

The ceremony will be starting promptly at 4:30pm, so we recommend guests arrive around 4:00 so there is time to mingle and find a seat. The event staff will begin closing the barn to guests at 4:15. If you happen to be late, our coordinator will let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you will need to wait until the wedding party is in place for the ceremony. If that happens, you will still be able to join the ceremony after the bride is at the arbor.

WHAT IS THE ATTIRE?

We would love for our family and friends to dress up with us! We are requesting cocktail or dressy casual attire for the evening. Please no jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, or white for the ladies.

will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be held outdoors and the reception will be held indoors.

How does seating work?

We are reserving the first few rows of the ceremony seating for immediate family, but the remainder will be open seating. Please sit wherever you would like on either side of the aisle. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests will be sat with those they know. There will be a seating chart to help you find your seat!

Is the Kennedy Estate wheelchair accessible?

Of course! The barn is all paved with concrete patios and a wooden deck. The back deck has a ramp, and there will be a golf cart on site that day to help shuttle people back and forth from the ceremony area (which is a ways from the barn and in grass).

How does parking work?

There is a gravel parking lot at the Kennedy that should fit everyone. Cars may be left overnight if needed, but must be picked up by 10am Sunday morning.
