It all started with a swipe…Jake and Livi matched on a dating app while Livi was living in Kansas City with her maid of honor after college. Their first date was on September 25, 2022, at El Maguey Mexican Restaurant in Platte City, Missouri — a simple dinner that ended up being the start of everything.From that night on, life together moved quickly — and beautifully. They adopted their beloved (and slightly spoiled) French Bulldog, Baby Stinky, and eventually moved in together in North Kansas City.In the fall of 2023, they took their first trip as a couple to New York City, where Livi introduced Jake to the magic of travel. That trip sparked a shared love for adventure, and since then, they’ve explored six states and the Dominican Republic together. Along the way, they’ve made it a tradition to try new cuisines everywhere they go — and bring the flavors home to recreate in their own kitchen. Livi takes the lead as head chef, with Jake happily playing the role of her trusty sous-chef (and official taste tester).In the spring of 2024, Jake and Livi decided to make a big change — leaving Kansas City behind to start a new chapter in Livi’s hometown, both beginning new careers and building a life together.Then, in the fall of 2025, a dream trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee became a memory that would last forever. On a crisp, colorful day in the Smoky Mountains — right at the scenic overlook of the Foothills Parkway — Jake asked Livi to marry him.She said yes (with tears, of course), and now they’re so excited to celebrate the next chapter of their story — with all of you together with them!

Grady is one of Jake’s lifelong best friends from his hometown — the kind of friend who’s more like a brother. From growing up together to countless concerts and late-night backroad drives, these two have made a lifetime of memories side by side. Whether they’re swapping stories, blasting music, or just hanging out like no time has passed, Jake couldn’t imagine his big day without Grady standing next to him.

Madison and Livi met in college and instantly became best friends, sorority sisters, and eventually roommates. Their bond only grew stronger after graduation when they continued living together in Kansas City. Madison has been by Livi’s side through every chapter — from late-night study sessions to cross-country moves — and now as her maid of honor. She’s Livi’s right hand woman and biggest cheerleader!

Toby and Livi have been close friends since their freshman year of high school, staying connected through every phase of life — from college to Kansas City and beyond. When Livi brought Jake home, it didn’t take long for Jake and Toby to hit it off and become best friends too. These days, it’s rare to find a weekend where they’re not all together. Having Toby by our sides as we say “I do” means the world to us.

Livi and Kylie became fast friends when Kylie started dating groomsmen, Toby. Kylie has become one of Livi’s closest friends, biggest supporters, and there is nearly never a weekend these two aren't together. Having her by her side as a bridesmaid is something truly special!

Jake met Bronson while working at Geis Peterbilt in St. Joseph, Missouri, and what started as a work friendship quickly turned into a lifelong bond. These two have shared hunting trips, endless laughs, and now — even though they no longer work together — they still talk every morning during their commute. Jake had the honor of standing by Bronson’s side at his wedding last year, and he’s proud to have Bronson by his side for his own big day.

Morgan and Livi met in college when Livi joined the sorority Zeta Psi Lambda, where Morgan quickly became her "Zeta Mom" — and more importantly, a lifelong friend. From college memories to staying close beyond graduation, their bond has only grown stronger over the years. Livi had the honor of standing by Morgan’s side on her wedding day, and now she’s so excited to have Morgan by hers.

Isaiah and Jake met in high school and quickly became close friends. Whether they’re fishing, hunting, or enjoying a party or two, these two have shared countless adventures together. Jake couldn’t imagine his big day without Isaiah standing by his side.

Kate and Livi became friends Livi’s freshman year of high school, bonding over late-night backroad adventures, endless laughs, and way too many trips to Sonic. Through every season of life, Kate has been one of Livi’s closest friends, and she’s so excited to have her by her side on such a special day.

Frequently Asked Questions Are both the ceremony and reception taking place at the venue?We will be having a private ceremony for immediate family only before the reception. The reception is where the celebration begins — and we can't wait to party with all of you! What is the dress code?We ask guests to come dressed "dressy" — think cocktail attire or your favorite nice outfit. What time should I arrive?Reception doors open at 4:30 PM, and the wedding party will arrive at 5:20 PM. We ask that all guests arrive by 5:00 PM so you don’t miss a thing! Is the reception indoors or outdoors?The reception will be indoors, so no need to worry about the weather! Is there parking at the venue?Yes! The venue has plenty of parking available for all guests. Can I bring a plus one?Due to the size of our wedding, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation/RSVP attend. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep things intimate and special. Can I bring my kids?While we love your little ones, our guest list is limited. If your children are not specifically included on your invitation/RSVP, we ask that you please arrange a babysitter and enjoy a fun night out! I have a dietary restriction — what should I do?Please reach out directly to Livi so we can make sure you're taken care of! Will there be an open bar?The bride and groom will have draft beer available. We will also have a cash bar available for all other drink choices. Where should I stay?We have three hotel options listed on our website that we recommend. We do not suggest staying at the other hotels in Sullivan. There are also a few Airbnb options nearby if you prefer something a little more private. When is the RSVP deadline?Please RSVP by April 18, 2026 so we can finalize our plans. Guest rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a fridge, a coffee machine, a shower, free toiletries and a desk. With a private bathroom equipped with a bath and a hairdryer, rooms at the inn also offer free WiFi.

Baymont by Wyndham Sullivan is also conviently located in Sullivan, only minutes from the venue. All rooms come with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fridge, a coffee machine, a shower, free toiletries and a desk.

Located in Saint Clair, 15 miles from the venue, PINEMARK Inn Suites Events provides accommodations with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. This hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The hotel features family rooms. Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, guest rooms at the hotel have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and selected rooms are equipped with a balcony. All rooms will provide guests with a fridge. The breakfast offers buffet, continental or American options.
