Our Wedding

Jake and I first began talking at an after-prom party in April 2019. What started as a simple conversation quickly blossomed into something meaningful, and from that night forward, we’ve spoken every day.Throughout the years, we’ve stood by each other through life’s many milestones and challenges. From supporting my mom during her battle with cancer in 2019, to celebrating our high school graduations, navigating college and vocational school, and stepping into the beginning of our careers, we’ve grown together every step of the way.On November 23, 2024, Jake proposed at Hocking Hills State Park. We had rented a cabin for the weekend, and in the midst of its serene beauty, he surprised me with the best gift I could have ever hoped for—the promise of forever together.Originally, we had dreamed of a beach-front ceremony, but as we began to plan, we quickly realized how challenging that would be. More than that, we wanted to share our special day with everyone who’s played a significant role in our journey—whether near or far. And so, our vision for our wedding evolved into something even more meaningful: a celebration of love, surrounded by all of those who have supported us along the way.
