Jake & Brittany first met during their Freshman year of High School in 2010. Their friend groups meshed together one day at lunch & the two remained friends through graduation in 2014.

One night during the summer of 2014, Jake was driving by the Evergreen Baskin Robins just before close where he happened to see Brittany's little white car parked out front. He stopped in to say hi and ask where she was going to school in the Fall. Brittany answered "Red Rocks Community College" which was where Jake was attending as well. Upon further discussion, Jake & Brittany discovered they started & ended classes at the same time on the same days so they decided to car pool.

After multiple easy going car rides together, Jake asked Brittany to the movies which took a little convincing as she didn't want to ruin the friendship but she ended up giving it a shot (obviously). Brittany found that she really felt comfortable being her self around him which was something she had trouble finding in a lot of people especially boys, so the dates continued.

On October 28th, 2014 after several dates & some caught feelings... the two made their relationship official.

Our major mile stones:

-JAN 2019 - Jake & Brittany officially move in together. They sign a one year lease on an apartment in Lakewood, 10 minutes from RRCC.

-MAY 2019 - Adopt their first puppy together, 8 week old black lab mix they named Loki.

-JAN 2020 - Jake & Brittany move into their first house together in Littleton, CO.

-JUNE 2020 - Adopt a little brother for Loki, 3 month old yellow lab mix they named Jarvis.

-AUG 2nd 2022- Jake surprises Brittany with a trip to Sarah O. in Denver to start designing a custom engagement/ wedding ring set. This was his proposal.

We can't wait to celebrate our marriage with you on September 27th 2024. We'll see you then!
