After being acquainted for about a year or so, we found ourselves starting to become better friends. We talked to each other more and more and realized we’d discovered something special. In an uncharacteristically spontaneous moment, Jake asked me on a date that Valentine’s Day (three days later). A week after that first date, we were official!

After hundreds of days of dating, thousands of miles of roadtrips, and countless conversations, he got down on one knee and asked me to love him for the rest of our lives.

Through ups and downs, we’ve seen God’s faithfulness in keeping us together. There have been seasons of unbridled joy and seasons of deep hardship, but we have never stopped fighting for each other and encouraging each other to pursue Jesus. We found our best friend in each other, and we can’t wait to love each other forever!!!
