One day when we are old with our children we will tell them how we swipped on each other on Facebook! Very traditional!
Jared had me at complete sentences! After so many times of hearing, " hey shawty! What's up ma? Have you dated a ls or me?" It was a breath of fresh air hearing a simple, "hello, how was your day?" Wow, very impressive. After many messages on facebook, I felt compelled to FINALLY give him my digits. Then it was the 3 minute phone calls. Because everyone knows how much Jared LOVES to talk. Then it was FINALLY time to meet in person. I enticed him with my womanly ways by how you may ask, RIBS!
I told him I would cook some ribs and food for us to enjoy at my house. When he arrived to a clean house, dishes washed, and the smell of AJAX, to his dismay there were not any ribs. I told him I was cleaning all day and that I did not have time to make my beautiful creation. So we settled on Red Lobster. After much enthused conversation, he came back to the house to fall asleep during Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Yupe, the snoring is what secured the bag for me!
With all the love and adoration that continues to grow between us, why not give into second chances?! He was kind, generous, and he took accountability. Isn't that attractive?! Granny loved and adored him. We have always enjoyed playing video games and indulging in conversations. We can have serious and very unserious conversations. We have ONLY argued about how to boil potatoes! He is the water to my fire and I cannot imagine my life without him. So there is my half of our story! <3 Lisa

How do you find a traditional family oriented woman that will put up with all your crap? FACEBOOK DATING! Okay my profile didn't have all that in it but did help me discover Lisa. We talked, and I tried to take her on a date for Valentine's day but unfortunately plans fell through but she agreed to meet up for a hug outside her apartment to ensure we were both real (my super model profile pictures had many people doubting my authenticity). We still tease Arianna and Mckenzie that I was outside their apartment and they didn't even know it! Fast-forward to our first real date, we agreed to keep things simple and she invited me over and she'd cook her famous ribs. After working all day, driving the 2 hours to get to her I was welcomed into her home with no ribs in sight. We then decided to go to Red Lobster, she drove, and we went back to her apartment to watch a movie. It was a great movie! Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be and I kicked her to the curb. Fast-forward again and I found myself back on Facebook dating and stumbled across her profile. Surprised no one had snatched this amazing woman up I reached out and we decided on a second date, this time going to The Galley. It was great to touch base again and pursue things for real. And things got real fast! The first time I invited her over to my house I had sewage backing up into the shower...and she didn't leave me! She watched my house when I was gone and my cats caused her face to swell...and she stayed! She has been the rock by side through whatever life has thrown us and I am excited to continue learning and growing together. As we all know, you don't boil the water as you are adding peeled potatoes to it, you start with cold water and all the potatoes ready before turning on the heat. But it doesn't matter, deep down she knows I'm right...for her. -Jared
