Jasmin is my older sister and my oldest friend. We've always been super close, so getting engaged and married months apart from each other feels so natural. She was the first person I talked to after my first date with Eric and told her "I think I really like him." 6+ years later, I'm honored to have her standing by my side as my Maid of Honor as we say 'I do.'

I thank God for sending me to Northwestern because not only did I meet Eric during my time there, but I also met my bestie, Amber. She was my "person" as we navigated college life, cheering together for 4 years, living together for 2 years, and building a lifelong friendship. I was honored to be her Maid of Honor and even more honored to have her as my Matron of Honor!

My baby sister Cierra aka 'Aunt C' as Eric likes to call her, is one of my bridesmaids. When I first introduced Eric to my family, I was extra curious as to what Cierra thought because she's a Pisces (like me) and can read people well. He passed her vibe check and she's been one of biggest supporters ever since.

When we first met at NU cheer tryouts, Alexandria thought I had an attitude lol. But through the years, our relationship has grown from teammates to co-workers and "roomies" and into a lifelong friendship and someone I consider a sister.

I've been friends with Malika since 7th grade, so we've literally grown up with each other, cheering each other on and being each other's safe space. And 2024 is no different. Not only are we celebrating BecomingTheStarks, but we're also celebrating her graduation from medical school.

Ariel took me under her wing during my freshman year of college, and she's been stuck with me ever since. Her energy fills every room and I can always count on her for the best advice, her honesty, and a good time.

My friendship with Chira taught me you're never too old to make a new friend. She's a breath of fresh air and is so supportive and caring. I admire her grace and faith as she balances of being a mom, fiance, and

Cydney lights up every room she walks in. She has such a big heart and an even bigger personality that has made it so easy for us to grow a bond over the last 10 years. She's not afraid of chasing her dreams and encourages me to do the same.
