Although unaware of when they actually met, neither Penguin nor Baby Bear would forget the day he texted her what was supposed to be a "no response" text.

After months of long distance communication, Penguin capitalized when Baby Bear visited Mississippi and asked her on their first date. The spark was undeniable during their time together. The sparks from this date ignited a fire that fueled endless laughter and unforgettable memories to come.

Computer love is all that they had in the beginning. Skype and Google Duo (now Google Meet) became fixtures in this budding relationship. The connection became undeniable when Penguin upgraded his phone to maintain communication with his Bear.

One of their first photos captured together. Penguin made the nine hour trek from Mississippi to South Carolina to Baby Bear. Moments like these are what led to these two becoming an official couple on 18 August 2020.

Their first Christmas together was a magical moment. It was Baby Bear's opportunity to show her family why she fell for Penguin.

With Baby Bear's mythical mask and Penguin's coaching, nothing would stop these two from truly being goofballs.

It was Penguin's turn to introduce his love to his family. Baby Bear immediately ingratiated herself with his family. All could see the joy she brought to Penguin's life.

This was not just another Valentine's Day for Penguin and Bear. This was their first time being able to enjoy it physically in one another's presence. Moments like these were the reminder that love is the cornerstone of their relationship.

Baby Bear and Penguin take on Washington!! I place that they both would soon call home.

Whether they are enjoying arcades, bowling, karaoke, Uno or video games, laughter and fun is a must for the pair.

As Penguin stood behind the camera of his phone, he could not help but be enamored by the beauty put on this display by Baby Bear. It was at this moment he fully understood he was extremely fortunate to have her in his life. It was this day that he soon began making plans to make her his wife.

The end of 2022 brought a blast from the past for Baby Bear and Penguin. Due to work, they had to return to a longer distance form of communication. However, as pictured here, it did not stop them from being "too cool" in 2023.

July of 2023 is when Baby Bear made the leap to move to Virginia with her Penguin. Finally being under the same roof permanently, the two could do things like random photo ops with Talon, DC United's mascot.

30 July 2023, proposal day for Penguin and Baby Bear. To set the stage, Penguin laid out letters the two mailed to each other as a reminder of the love they have always shared.

Penguin poured out all his feelings for Baby Bear. He watched with baited breath as they knew this would be the day that their lives forever changed.

A day later and Baby Bear still has not removed the ring.

The journey of Baby Bear and Penguin is not yet complete. They have learned to make the most of whatever situation life has offered them.
