Forged in the fiery crucible of chaos, ours is a love that has matured from uncertainty to immeasurable strength through challenges and adventures across five countries, brought together from across continents by destiny, we have strived to craft a unified family from two wildly different countries, while showing our son the world, overcoming the loss of loved ones (rest in peace, Diosdado Suficiencia), crusading against family illness, even dodging ISIS, and venturing 8000 miles away from the homes we knew.

Somewhere along the way, we fell deeply in love, and eventually learned to create our own unique 'third culture'. Though we've always done things our own way, thrown caution to the wind, and ignored the status quo, now it is finally time to share our commitment to each other with our extended family and loved ones, and make our vows public as we build fresh new foundations in America.
