There is so much to do in the lovely city of Boise. We have listed a couple hot spots and attractions in the area that are always a hit. Personally, we have been to every place listed and can agree with the hype! Of course, Boise is filled with so many other things as well. There is plenty of hiking, shopping, site seeing and restaurants you should definitely explore if you have the time. Table Rock

The Table Rock area offers challenging hiking and mountain biking opportunities. Most users access these trails from the Old Idaho Penitentiary parking lot, where there is a kiosk and directional signage for the trails. The Table Rock area offers stunning views of Boise and the Treasure Valley, and is a favorite among trail enthusiasts for sunset hikes and rides.

Boise/Eagle Farmers Market

Boise: Find us in Downtown Boise in the Grove Plaza, on the corner of 8th St & Main, in the heart of downtown. The Capital City Public Market started in 1994 in downtown Boise with a small group of local vendors, 30 years later we have over 150+ rotating vendors all with products crafted in Idaho by Idahoans.
Eagle: Established in 2002, the Eagle Saturday Market is a handmade market historically located in the heart of downtown Eagle, Idaho in Heritage Park. Managed by the City of Eagle Parks and Recreation, one will find an array of arts and crafts, local produce, herbs and flowers, woodwork, specialty food items, and freshly prepared food. Join us at the Eagle City Hall Campus (660 E Civic Lane).

Freak Alley

Freak Alley Gallery is the northwests largest open-air, multi-artist mural gallery, located between 8th and 9th street and Bannock and Idaho in Downtown Boise.

Float the Boise River

Every year over 125,000 people enjoy a float-at-your-own-risk experience down the Boise River, floaters put in at Barber Park and take out at Ann Morrison Park. The park has a raft and tube rental and a shuttle bus service. The float takes approximately 2-3 hours (about 6 miles).
