Our Wedding

It all started on the soccer field... kind of.We met in college, both student-athletes, both completely focused on our goals (and maybe a little too competitive to notice each other right away). We were around each other all the time, same fields, same campus, but we were just two people moving in parallel, not quite connected yet.Life has a funny way of waiting for the right moment.It wasn’t until later that we truly&nbsp;saw each other. It started small, conversations that lasted longer than expected, shared laughs, long walks, a little too much sushi and the realization that we had more in common than just our love for the game. Slowly, friendship turned into something deeper. And before we knew it, we were falling in love—not in a dramatic, movie-montage kind of way, but in the quiet, steady, meant-to-be kind of way.Soccer may have brought us together, but everything after is what made us inseparable. Today, we’re grateful for the journey that brought us here, all the way from Sweden to the USA. From game days to heart-to-hearts, from challenges to cheers, every moment shaped the love we share today. This is only the beginning of our forever, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s next.

A very kid-oriented, young tour.<a href="https://www.easttowestrms.com/AbbaMuseum" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">ABBA Museum</a>: If you are into ABBA then it is a must-see.

Royal Djurgården

Stockholm is a massive Archipelago: the name for all of the little islands around Stockholm is&nbsp;Skärgård. You MUST take a boat tour (even in the winter!!!) operated by&nbsp;<a href="http://www.stromma.se/en/stockholm/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Stromma Boat Tours</a>. It is a great way to see all the islands and the outsides of the city.&nbsp;The tour is 1.5 hours and leaves from Stromkajen.

If you’d like a once‑in‑a‑lifetime Arctic adventure, the world‑famous Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi (about 20 min from Kiruna) is built entirely of ice and snow each winter and also has a year‑round frozen hotel. You can visit by day to explore the sculpted ice rooms, chapel, and ice bar (about $30–40), or even book an overnight stay in an ice suite with thermal sleeping bags. Winter visits can include northern lights tours, husky rides, and snowmobiling. Dress warmly—it’s around 23°F inside!
