The dress code is formal. We want you to be comfortable, but it is also a special occasion for us and we would like you dressed up. Please do not wear jeans.

Our wedding is inspired by our favourite games from the worlds of both tabletop and video, given that we met through gaming. See how many references you can find on the day!

Parking is provided by the Elora Mill. Across the bridge (over the Grand River) from the mill is a large parking lot. The lot is located next to The Foundry and the address is 29 Ross St.

Our wedding will be an open bar, beginning with cocktail hour, serving, wine, beer, and mixed drinks. The bar will not be serving straight shots unless the bride or groom gives you special permission. We will also have a custom drink list prepared for anyone with an adventurous spirit and those willing to roll the dice. 😉

Our wedding will be a child-free event, as we want to have an evening for adults to celebrate our marriage. Please arrange for childcare on the day of so you can celebrate with us.

Dinner service is prepared the day of, and as such, you will be served directly by the staff (at The Granary) at your table. You will have the option to choose from a custom-made menu the day of. There will be options for all dietary restrictions, and the servers are also happy to make small tweaks upon request if needed.

If you do not have a designated driver, we recommend using the Fergus Elora Taxi service. Their number is 519-787-7433 and they will be running all evening until the wedding ends. We do not have shuttles booked for the hotels as most of the guests who let us know about their accommodations are staying at fairly spread out locations. There is also overnight parking at The Mill so you can pick up your cars the following day.
