It was October of 2020, in the middle of a global pandemic, when fate played matchmaker in the sunny paradise of Tulum, Mexico; our screens flickered with the promise of connection. Swipes led to smiles, and before we knew it, we were face-to-face in a cozy cantina. Hours melted away as we traded stories, dreams, and more than a few laughs and mezcal until the cantina’s closing hours, leaving us hungry for more.

As the days turned into weeks, our bond deepened by sharing so many dates and scooter adventures in the middle of turquoise waters and the cool town of Tulum. With each sunset, we discovered new facets of each other, our shared love for adventure igniting a flame that would light our path for years to come.

When the time came to say goodbye, Sofy asked: “So what's next?" Both of us had a clear answer, let’s stick together and find out. On a roadtrip to Baja, with the company of our beloved Teca, our whirlwind romance really began, as colorful as the gradients of Baja’s sunsets.

From that moment on, we began collecting passport stamps like badges of honor - our love story unfolded across 17 countries and countless cities, each destination adding another chapter to our tale. From the ancient wonders of Greece to the icy landscapes of Iceland, we found comfort and a best friend in each other, experiencing unforgettable moments every day along the way.

In June of 2023, on a perfect day in the Swiss Alps, James made it official and asked Sofy the most important question of all. With tears in her eyes and a squealing “siiiii,” we sealed the deal.

Our journey led us to Valle de Guadalupe, the wine capital of Mexico, where we decided to plant roots in a place as vibrant and rich as our love. Surrounded by mountains and vineyards, we found a sanctuary to call home.
