Formal attire. Our reception is right on the waterfront, which means gorgeous views (and sometimes a cool breeze!). You may want to bring a light shawl, wrap, or jacket so you can stay cozy while enjoying the scenery. We fell in love with the venue because of the setting. We think you’ll like it too!

There will be plenty of free parking at the church. We will have valet parking for the venue.

While the wedding party sneaks away for their mini photo shoot from 3:30 - 7:00 pm, guests can use the time in between to get ready, eat a late lunch, or explore the beautiful beaches that are in the surrounding area. Please keep in mind the church is very close to the venue when planning activities during the break. The church and venue are only a few minutes apart from each other ⸻ Closest Airports • JFK International Airport (JFK) • ~25–30 miles away • About 35–45 minutes by car (depending on traffic) • LaGuardia Airport (LGA) • ~30–35 miles away • About 40–55 minutes by car • Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP/Islip) • ~20 miles away • About 25–30 minutes by car • Easiest/smallest airport, often less hectic than JFK or LGA All three are good options depending on where you’re flying from.

Flying in? Again, the closest airports are Long Island MacArthur (25–30 min), JFK (about 40 min), and LaGuardia (about 45 min). Ubers and Lyfts work here, but can be hit or miss, so if you’re planning to explore, we recommend renting a car. (Bonus: you’ll get to see more of Long Island’s beaches and food spots that way!)

Because the Ryder Cup is taking place the same weekend, delays on all the major highways and streets are to be expected. We were told that most of the staff at this major golfing event will be staying at nearby hotels while players and their entourage will be staying in New York City and driving to Bethpage, Long Island. Allot extra time for driving to the church and/or venue.

YES! Both the church and venue have wheelchair accessibility. the wheelchair entrance at the venue is on the side of the building. A staff member should be there to direct you to the ramp entrance.
