Located in Dearborn, the Henry Ford Museum is one of the largest Museums in the United States. There are countless exhibits to see including the presidential limousine of John F. Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln's chair from Ford's Theatre, Thomas Edison's laboratory, the Wright Brothers' bicycle shop, and even Rosa Parks bus. Tickets are $32.
The Motown Museum (AKA Hitsville USA) was the first recording studio and headquarters for Motown Records. It currently functions as a museum, where tourists can learn about the history and music of artists like the Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, and Marvin Gaye.
The Detroit Zoo is home to 125 acres of expansive habitats that house more than 2,000 animals of 233 species in the heart of Metro Detroit. Some of the more popular exhibits are the polar bears and penguins. Tickets range from $14-$23 and it's recommended to purchase them ahead of time.
Belle Isle Park is a 982-acre island park located in Detroit with historic, environmental, and cultural resources that have been beloved for generations. The park is home to the Belle Isle Aquarium, Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory, Dossin Great Lakes Museum, Belle Isle Nature Center, the James Scott Memorial Fountain, and more!
Located close to the Westin Book Cadillac, Bad Luck Bar is an upscale speakeasy that serves unique craft cocktails. Reservations are recommended because this place books up fast.
Cliff Bell's is a Jazz Club located in downtown Detroit. It first opened it's doors in 1935. Stop in for some live music and a cocktail.

Deluxx Fluxx is a downtown basement night club and music venue that combines music, performance, and art. Definitely check it out on your visit to Detroit.
Located inside the Siren Hotel, the Candy Bar specializes in unique, craft cocktails. The setting also makes for some really cool pictures. Reservations are recommended!
You can't say you've been to Detroit without stopping at Lafayette and American Coney Island to determine which Coney dog is better. These locations have been serving up hot dogs (covered in chili, mustard, and onions) for over 100 years.
Located in Taylor, MI (only a short drive/uber from downtown) is a bar & restaurant with German flair. Bierkeller Tavern and Eatery is home to some of the best brews and eats in all of metro Detroit. It's a local favorite and should definitely be on your list for your trip to Detroit!
Detroit Shipping Co. is a restaurant collective and beer garden featuring five unique food-truck style eateries, two full service bars, a coffee and ice cream booth, a small stage, galleries for local artists and retailers, and two private lounges. All constructed from refashioned shipping containers. Stop by for good food, live music, and yard games!
The Peterboro, which first opened in the spring of 2016 in Detroit’s historic Chinatown, is a casual contemporary restaurant serving a fusion of American influenced Chinese fare. In addition to serving a host of traditional Chinese dishes with their own personal take, they also offer an extensive bar program, which includes an array of signature house cocktails, as well as timeless classic cocktails.

Since 1948, Mario's has been serving the heart of Detroit. There aren’t many restaurants with this kind of character. Rumored to have been a favorite of the Detroit mob, you wont find Italian food as good as this.
Recommended: The Broiled Filet Mignon with Zip Sauce.
Only a short walk from the hotel, Dime Store is an all-day brunch restaurant in downtown Detroit, Michigan, specializing in breakfast, lunch and booze.

The Detroit-Style Pizza legacy began at Buddy’s Rendezvous Pizzeria on Six Mile and Conant street on Detroit’s eastside when in 1946 Gus Guerra and team made their first square-shaped pizza. Baked in forged-steel pans borrowed from local automotive plants, they were able to produce a very light and crispy crust which is now known as Detroit-Style Pizza. This was the first known square pizza in the U.S. and now, more than 75 years later, the pizza style has become a national favorite.
