Well, you could say it was Destiny. Their friends would say it was Destiny too. James and Sariah knew of each other from playing the same online game. After playing for a few years together the couple met at a mutual friends Halloween party for the first time.

It was the classic case of he saw her, she saw him...and they still lived 1,500 miles away, so nothing happened...YET. After a very fortunate move to Utah on Sariah's part, the couple started hanging out together and hit it off.

All their friends could see they were perfect for one another, except for them. Luckily Sariah mustered up the courage to ask James on a date. But fear not my manly men! For James initiated the first kiss!

The couple built their relationship on commonalities such as their love for reading, gaming, and general nerdiness. They enjoy spending their time together playing computer games, board games, and watching movies. As well as discovering new recipes to make together (of course with Sariah as the chef and James as the sous chef; He says he is a good padawan, she says sure). Although, their love for cheesy whales often eclipses their love for cooking with one another.... They’re just so yummy!

The couple couldn’t be more excited to be married to one another and to share the event with all of you. Here’s to January 27th, 2024!
