Zach Jones - Best Man
One of my favorite memories with Esther and Jimmy is when the three of us and Priscilla ended up spending a weekend together in West Virginia. I had worked a very long and stressful day earlier that same day and had to meet up with them late at night. I remember feeling very tired and frustrated with how things had gone at work. But once I arrived and saw Esther, Priscilla, and Jimmy, the weight and baggage from the rest of the day was almost immediately lifted off of my shoulders. We stayed out all night essentially and absolutely had the time of our lives, ultimately ending up sleeping at a hotel. The next morning, we set out and went on a gorgeous walk, taking in the perfect weather from that weekend and enjoying the abundant wildlife and scenery that we found in a nearby field/ruins site, before finding a spot by the water and staying there until evening. I'll always remember the energy being so pure and easy, and I'll always remember feeling such a sense of comfort and belonging, so much so that the second we greeted each other, none of the frustration or burden I had felt earlier seemed to matter one bit. Esther and Jimmy exude that kind of warm, welcoming, and familiar energy wherever they go and whomever they are with, and anyone who meets them is better because of it.

Esther and Jimmy are such a beautiful example of love. I have been able to enjoy many different and amazing experiences with both of them. They have taught me so much and I will forever be grateful to them for letting me see into their relationship through various times. They are so open, honest, curious, fun, understanding, loving, and encouraging. Ess and I have been close ever since we were born. We have gotten into all types of shenanigans and adventures throughout our lives. I love you so much Ess. You are my best friend and help me more than you know. Thank you for always being a rock of strength and honesty in my life. Jimmy and I have been able to grow very close. I am so thankful for him and all the joy he brings with him. Jimmy didn't need anything else to be amazing because he is one of the most easy-going and authentic people I have ever known, but on top of all of who he is, he also introduced two "bonus" brothers. I am so thankful that Jimmy brought Zach and Dom into my life. I went from having no brothers to getting three all at once and it has been an absolute gift. We have all been able to spend a good amount of time together and it is always a fantastic time. It could be anything from just sitting and talking for hours to going on a long trip where we are all squeezed into one car singing our hearts out and laughing our heads off. The memories I have been able to share have been nothing short of amazing! I am so excited to have Jimmy as an "official" brother and I am so grateful how much joy he brings to Esther. I'm so thankful God brought you both together. I love you both so much and I can't wait to see what new adventures this next chapter of your life will bring.

Jimmy and Esther are a big part of my life. Not only do they care and love me, watching them
grow in their own lives and growing within each other's lives makes me so proud and excited to
see what’s to come in our future. I’ve known Jimmy for about 6 years now, and watching
become the man he is today… I have many memories of him and I; it started out with me going
to work with him and his dad, to taking the go-carts and racing behind his house, then driving all
over the midwest. If I had to remember anything that we did, it would be rock climbing with him.
We originally got into it together on a fluke, just trying it out having fun and bs. It definitely turned
into a lifestyle real quick. We caught ourselves going out nearly every weekend and finding new
outdoor climbing spots. Climbing all weekend; camping out, living off cliff bars, goldfish, and
dried mangos. I realized after all that Jimmy and I had a real bond. Just talking about how
climbing with each other gave us both such happiness. Whether it was last second plans or
something we planned months prior, I couldn’t wait just to hangout with him and just conquer the
climb. Climbing without Jimmy didn’t feel right. The moral boost of him being there with me gave
me real inspiration. I’m talking about a lot of climbing and how it made me feel; the brotherhood
that we created is what I’m really talking about. Growing up with him, watching him try new
things, seeing him get excited or mad was all a proper build up to what he is today. The
longevity of the friendship speaks for itself on how much he means to me. Jimmy came into my
life when I was at a significant low. Not to get into what was going on; Jimmy gave me power.
Seeing someone pure and genuine and investing that into me meant the world. As I get older
and watch Jimmy continue that lifestyle is more than just unique. I look up to him. He deserves
all the happiness that comes his way. And soon to watch him get married with a wonder woman
that appreciates him for who he is, is the perfect “coming of age”.
That leads me to Esther and what kind of person she is and how much she means to me.
Esther in a simple statement is “build different”. She is definitely one of a kind and I give Jimmy
all of the props for finding and committing to such a beautiful person. From the many times
we’ve hung out, to the long phone calls; Esther continues to amaze me. Some of my favorite
times with her are when we third-wheel to Jimmy and Zack. She’s MY drinking buddy. She is by
far one of my favorite people to drink with. She helps me clean at my parties while chaperoning
a certain someone (this speaks for itself on who I’m talking about). She listens to all my girl
drama, which I know she enjoys way too much. She is also one of the few people out there that
really understand how to check in on her friends. That’s probably my favorite trait about her. She
has a very good mindset on understanding what goes into friendship and how it’s an investment
of time and patients without the expectation of reciprocation. That might go over some people’s
head but she knows what I’m talking about and how meaningful it is. I’m so happy that she loves
and enjoys Jimmy even more so than Zack and I do. She’s much more than Jimmy’s soon to be
wife, she’s a real one, Esther is family.
I can’t wait for the future of the two of them together. Having gatherings at THEIR house or just
showing up to have a beer and both of them at the door to greet me… A lot of things are going
to change for the better and I’m excited to see them grow even more so into each other. And
also, realistically, they are gonna have some cute ass kids. I’m gonna leave that there…

It has been an honor to be able to witness Esther and Jimmy’s love for one another, and God, grow into this exciting adventure that continues to blossom. The love they share is so special. Esther is one of the most bold and strong women I have ever met, and Jimmy is a man of honor and integrity. Together they make this unstoppable power couple that can do anything they set their minds to. I am so proud of both of them! Esther, I love you so much and am so happy that I get to call you my baby sister. Jimmy, I love you and am excited to continue to get to know you as my brother. So excited to see where life, and God, takes you!
