Hi! It's Baley! I'm here writing our story! This is a story many years in the making and one that I could write on and on about. If you are reading this, I appreciate you taking the time to do so!

Our story began when we were both fourteen. We were in 8th grade and the 8th grade formal was quickly approaching. Neither one of us had dates to the dance, but shared many mutual friends. I had never shared a conversation with Jameson, nor him with me. One of our friends suggested that we go to the dance together, so we did.

We were both shy, timid, fourteen-year-olds and maybe spoke a total of 100 words to each other at the dance. LOL! After the dance was over, we stayed in touch and went on a few dates here and there. Our first date was on June 26th, 2017. We went to see Wonder Woman and afterwards we went and ate at Freddy's. Many months went by before our second date, which was at my house watching football, imagine that, Georgia vs Notre Dame. It was at my house, six months after the 8th grade formal, that Jameson decided to ask me to be his girlfriend. If you ask Jameson, he'll say it hadn't been six months, but trust me, it was. ;)

From there our story truly began. We started high school and experienced many “firsts” together. We learned to drive together and eventually got our drivers licenses together. We went to every school dance together, homecomings and proms. Then we finally graduated high school together. After graduating, we knew we wanted to try to attend the same school. After applying to a few schools, we both got accepted into Kennesaw State University. In the Fall of 2021, Jameson began studying construction management and I began studying entrepreneurship. It is crazy to think that we are both about to graduate now!

Not to get too sappy, but our story is so special to me for so many reasons. We have grown up together, seen each other at our worst and our best, and cheered for each other through every major milestone and season of life. It feels like just yesterday we were attending the 8th grade formal together and now we are planning our dream wedding! From the moment our paths crossed, I knew my life would never be the same. Growing through life with Jameson has been the greatest gift ever given to me. To know Jameson is to love him. He instantly lights up any room he’s in and brings light to my darkest days. He reminds me that there is still good in this world. You know how there are certain people who just make the world a better place by being in it? Jameson is 100% that person. He has brought so much joy, love, and laughter into my world. I write our story with so much gratitude and excitement for the future that we will soon build together.
