Are Ubers/Lyft/RideShares Available in the area?

Since we're celebrating in the beautiful mountains, please keep in mind that Uber and Lyft are pretty much non-existent here. To keep the good vibes flowing and ensure no one gets stuck, we recommend planning your own transportation to and from the venue ahead of time!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

We’re getting hitched in the fresh mountain air! The ceremony will be outdoors, and then we’ll move inside for the reception to eat and dance. Banner Elk is beautiful in late April, but it can be chilly—temps usually range from a crisp 43°F to 65°F, so keep that in mind when picking your outfit!

Is there a dress code?

Semi-Formal attire! Since we’ll be outdoors for the ceremony, we highly recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket. We want you to be comfortable while we celebrate

Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes! We have limited parking on-site at The White Crow (about 50 spots). We encourage carpooling if you can to make sure there's room for everyone. If you’re enjoying the bar, please feel free to leave your car overnight—we want everyone to get home safely! Cars must be picked up by 10 am on Sunday.

Phone Policy During Ceremony

No Phones during the ceremony. Absolutely no phones.

Will I Have Cell Service at The Venue

One of the reasons we chose The White Crow is for its incredible, secluded views! Because of our mountain location, cell service can be spotty. We recommend downloading your directions or the hotel address beforehand. We’ll also have the Wi-Fi password available so you can post all those photos of the pups!

Will There Be Animals at the Wedding?

Yes! Our three best friends—Starsky, Hutch, and Boone—are a huge part of our lives and will be joining us for the ceremony. They’ll be heading home before the reception party starts, but if you have allergies or are nervous around pups, please let us know so we can make sure you’re comfortable!

What kind of food will be served?

We’re doing a buffet-style dinner with both meat and fish options, plus plenty of sides and salad. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, just let us know when you RSVP so we can make sure there’s something delicious for you!

What Shoes Should I Wear?

Leave the stilettos at home! Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be on a large grass area, and we don't want anyone getting stuck in the turf. Wear something you can comfortably dance in all night!

When is the RSVP Deadline?

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! To help us nail down our final headcount for our amazing vendors, please let us know if you can make it by March 1, 2026. We’d love to have you there!

Are children invited?

We adore your little ones, but for our big day, we’ve decided to host an adults-only celebration. While you'll see our three fur-babies helping us say 'I do', we are only able to accommodate the specific children named on your invitation (our special young participants!). We hope you can use this as an excuse for a parents' night out in the mountains and join us for a day full of love, food, and good vibes!

Can I bring a plus-one?

We’d love to host everyone, but to keep it an intimate gathering, we are only able to accommodate the guests specifically listed on your invitation. When you scan your code to RSVP, your party’s names will pop up automatically!
