E. Davis Street in downtown Culpeper
A wide variety of small business shops on a single street. Full of restaurants, cocktails, and fun things to find.
Main Street in downtown Warrenton
Slightly smaller than E. Davis Street but contains the same charm.
River District in Sperryville
Cute little riverside area. A large old horse barn has been transformed into little shops for local venders.
Death Ridge Brewery
Only a 5 minute drive from our home. This has turned into our go to spot for a beer. Live music, mountain views, food trucks, and good beer.
Beer Hound Brewery
Located in downtown Culpeper. Very welcoming place for our four-legged friends. Most of their beers are named after customers' dogs.
Old House
This one stop shop on the outskirts of Culpeper is a brewery, winery, and distillery. Spread across three separate buildings on the same property, its a nice place for those who want to try it all.
Magnolia
Just a 3 minute drive from the house, most weekends you will find us here. Best staff around and who doesn't like a couple of friendly winery dogs to greet you.
Rappahannock Winery
We love the views driving out to this winery in Rappahannock. There is even a distillery inside.
Copper Fox
Steve's favorite distillery. Jamie, who does not like whiskey, loves their Blonde Bloody Mary. Sit outside next to the river and enjoy the peace and quite out in Sperryville.
The entrance to the Shenandoah Mountains are about 45 mins away with plenty of hiking trails. If you are not into hiking, take a drive on Skyline Drive. Multiple pull-off spots to take in the views.
Our closest spot is golf is South Whales Golf Course. Knock out a round back in the woods on an old farm property with reasonable prices.
Lake Culpeper is only 5 mins from the hotels, they offer kayak rentals at the Ole Country Store.
Culpeper Farmers Market is every Saturday morning. Most of the vendors live right by us. Music is usually playing, food is being served, and fresh local products.
