Jamie and Jimmy first met in the summer of 2013 at Sea-Vu Campground in Wells, Maine. Jamie's family had been going there since she was 8 years old. Jimmy's college roommate and best friend, Nick, had also been going to Sea-Vu since he was a kid, and Jamie and Nick had been good friends since they were kids.

One summer weekend in 2013, Nick brought his college roommate (Jimmy) to the campground for the weekend. Jimmy instantly clicked with the campground crew, and a crush developed between him and Jamie. Shortly after this weekend, they kept in touch via Facebook for a short period of time before Jimmy eventually deleted Jamie from his Facebook friends list, stating to Nick, "I will most likely never see this girl again."

Fast forward to 2020, it's COVID times and both Jamie and Jimmy are single. They re-connect with an assist from their friend Nick, and the rest is history. Jimmy had just moved to Orlando, FL, so the timing wasn't ideal, but they made it work long distance for two years before Jimmy moved back to New England and moved in with Jamie. Now, Jimmy, Jamie and their adorable lab/shepherd mix Ripley live happily together in Boston, close to their families and (most) of their friends.
