Cody and Jamie found each other through the modern and magical invention of online dating. Jamie was living with her parents in Frederick, MD working with children on the autism spectrum while still holding out hope that Disney would one day call. Cody was living in Eldersburg, MD as a crazy cat dad with Martin and Tormund. Somehow, Hinge knew the two of us were supposed to meet. In fact, we both messaged each other at the same exact time, 12:26 PM on March 9th, 2021.

After talking online for about two weeks, Cody asked Jamie out on a first date that had to include soft-serve ice cream, as per her Hinge account. A first date that was originally only supposed to be ice-cream and axe-throwing turned into dinner and walking around downtown Frederick. It wasn't long after the first date that Jamie was asking when she could see him again.

3 years have gone by and Cody and Jamie are officially bringing their lives together. Jamie just completed her Master's in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling in Philadelphia while Cody found the house of their dreams in West Virginia.
