We went to high school together for 3 years, lived 3 minutes from each other, and worked at the same company for 3 years. Not once did we notice each other other than a polite nod. What changed, you ask?

One day, we started up a conversation at work, maybe on natural gas, maybe on traffic, or maybe on plans for the weekend. It was then we realized we had been circling each other at so many different points in our life, but our paths never crossed until now.

From our short conversations at work and following a Christmas party, Jason took the step to ask me on a date, and then the rest was history.

It may have taken years to finally connect, but now our paths are inseparable. Some things are worth waiting for.
