...in less than 24 hours, we started chatting each other up. Chris showed initiative, charm and a sense of humor, which was a major eye-catcher for me. 😉 After a few days of messaging back and forth, Chris worked up the courage to call and we ended up chatting for a couple of hours.
We had talked about meeting up, but no plans were made...then a couple nights later, on a Saturday evening, Chris called and said “Lets go catch a movie! I can come get you now.” I already had a take n bake pizza in the oven for a big Saturday night plan, so when he picked me up for the movie, I had to grab some slices, throw them on a paper plate and eat them on the way to the movie theater! What a way to set a first impression! 😉
For those wondering, we saw the movie Game Night.


We began texting the next morning and decided to meet up again that day, and evidently we both enjoyed each other’s company so much that we made plans to hang out again later that night. You might say it was a pretty instant connection! And we have been enjoying each other’s company ever since!
