Our Wedding

Our story begins in 2020. Jamie, working as an Ultrasound technologist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, decided to follow her dream of seeing the world. As a traveling sonographer, her first assignment was a thirteen week contract in the historic Macon, Georgia. The early stages of the pandemic were in full swing, and having moved across the country to assist, Jamie extended her contract for another three months. One Day Jamie came into Daniel’s place of work, a local shooting range where Daniel worked as the Lead Safety Instructor. After he taught her class, Daniel was immediatly taken aback by her caring personality, thoughtfulness and warm demeaner. The two began dating and Jamie extended her contract two more times to further the relationship. After a brief few months of a long distance relationship, the two decided to take the plunge and begin traveling together. They packed their bags and began to travel the country together, going from ocean to ocean. Their travels led them to transverse over 22 states in the process, as well as living an entire year on the big island of Hawaii. They shared a common sense of adventure and wonder of the world around them, and this led to an amazing few years as the two grew closer and their love flourished. Both Jamie and Daniel have brought so much joy and enrichment to each others lives, and their journey in this life has just begun. After their time in Hawaii had come to an end, the two set out on a three week long adventure through the Alaskan wilderness. One day as the two were in Denali National Park, Daniel Proposed under the shadows of the Denali Mountain range. This remarkable moment has led them to the next chapter of their lives together, on in which they hope to share with every single one of their guests.

Our Story

Jamie and Daniel went on a bucket list trip to Alaska. There was an excursion that took them on a history tour into Denali National Park. Daniel saw this beautiful day with breath-taking scenery as the perfect time to pop the question and asked Jamie to spend forever with him, to which she said yes!

Engagement

My name is Julie, and Jamie and I met the summer of 2016 through a mutual friend. Since then we have become the best of friends, and enjoy summer shenanigans on my family’s boat! I am beyond excited for Jamie and Daniel, and can’t wait to follow along on their adventures together!

Jamie and I have been friends since 2016 when ultrasound brought us together!  I'm so thankful everyday that our careers led us to each other.  I can't imagine my life without her!  She has one of the biggest hearts, is always there through the good and the bad, and is the true definition of a friend. I prayed that she would meet her soulmate during her travel ultrasound journey--my prayer was answered.  When Jamie first told me about Daniel, I knew right away he was the one and meeting him I understood why.  His big heart, undeniably caring personality, and his love for life are just a few of the many reasons these two are meant to be.  I am so incredibly excited for Jamie and Daniel and all of their adventures together, including the ones my family will be a part of.  I cannot wait to stand by their side as they begin their greatest adventure yet!

Hey, I'm Sean. I'm the best man literally and figuratively. I know Daniel through a mutual friend, our mother. While being the first child, I was gifted with supernatural grace and intellectual abilities, I still feel Daniel, who I call a brother has enough to do right by Jamie for no less than when death or sharks tears them apart.

Hi, I'm Mike, Daniel's father.

Daniel grew up in the country so we did a lot of things together as a family. He inherited my love for the outdoors as well as my lifelong passion for riding motorcycles. We share many fond memories of riding and racing dirt bikes. When the boys were young, I encouraged them to keep up with me, now I ask them to wait up for me!

Daniel and I have taken some wonderful motorcycle trips around the southeast and up the Blue Ridge Parkway and I look forward to more adventures to come.

I am so glad that Daniel and Jamie have found each other. They have had an amazing few years of traveling and exploring the world with a lifetime of adventure ahead of them.

So I met Daniel in college through his brother Sean. We were sitting outside waiting on the next class, and I asked Sean if he had any crayons. He told me he didn't, but his little brother did. The next thing I knew, Daniel strolled up to where we were sitting and introduced himself. Me being me, I asked if he had any crayons, and Daniel asked me which flavor I wanted. Now Daniel has someone else special to share his crayons with and help him color inside the lines,  I couldn't be happier for him and Jamie.
