We're hoping to meet here for an afterparty if there is interest to continue the evening, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a nice dinner or drink here whenever it sounds good to you! Jon's personal favorite beer is the Brown's Brown Ale if you're looking for a recommendation.
Who doesn't love BBQ? This isn't too far from the hotels in the area if you're looking for a spot nearby for a dinner/lunch. This is a chain, but it actually started as a traveling biker BBQ spot in Albany. Jamie does love a good rack of ribs which would be her go-to for any BBQ spot.
Although burgers sound good, so does a delicious milkshake. Jamie and Jon are both ice cream lovers. Jamie's go-to shake is usually a chocolate malt, while Jon is classic vanilla man (but mint chocolate chip when he's feeling edgy).
A good place for some drinks and food if you're looking for some classic bar grub. Jamie has been here for her work group's holiday parties the last 3 years, so she's mostly familiar with their drinks.
A nearby spot for breakfast or lunch! They even have a sandwich called O'Doyle Rulez...sounds like fate.
A market with several food options right next door to the Courtyard hotel and in the same building as the wedding venue (just on the first floor).
For anyone that likes a Farmer's Market, this is a close option!
Although some find a cemetery a strange "thing to do" they can be quite beautiful and interesting. This one has the grave of THE "Uncle Sam."
Looking for some history that isn't in a cemetery? This is probably the option for you.
Looking for a mall or a spot to do some shopping? Crossgates is one of the biggest malls in the area. It also houses Spa Mirabeau if you're seeking some pampering while you're in town.
A good spot for some walking or hikes if the weather permits and you're interested in some fresh air.
