Although the two grew up less than 4 miles apart, shared a lot of mutual friends, and attended the same social gatherings throughout their first 2.5 years at Ohio State, it took until second semester junior year for Jamie and David to officially meet. A mutual friend set them up for a Valentine’s Day date party; love must have really been in the air…COVID sent them both back to Cleveland only a few weeks after they met, but the two kept in touch for weeks and weeks. Upon return to campus for their senior year, the two decided to be friends. That did not last long. Shortly thereafter, David asked Jamie to be his girlfriend. And the rest was history.
