It all started with a swipe right... and a knock on Jamie's front door

Shortly after knocking on Jamies door.. Alex introduced himself to her.. Very distracted, she proceeded to apologize to Alex and calm her barking "vicious" "Mighty Mouse" of a 6lb morkie-poo, Tilley from "attacking" him with jumps and licks... It was only pure excitement that Tilley couldn't hold back for her mom.. and how much she really liked Alex from the moment he knocked on the door... Off they went for sushi and drinks at Samuri. The night ended on Jamie's back patio beside a fire, playing "We're Not Really Strangers" - One of Jamie's favorite card games - and both realizing... maybe they weren't really strangers after all.

Fun fact: Alex made it a point to open Jamie's vehicle door when heading to their first date, and when traveling together he still does it to this very day!

From that first night, their connection was undeniable. On May 5th, 2023 Alex asked Jamie if she would be his girlfriend, and from that moment on, their lives began to intertwine in the most natural and beautiful ways.

Alex chose the sweetest setting to propose — right at their home, with both of their parents and grandparents there to witness the moment. He looked at Jamie and said, Jamie, I love you, and I always will. Will you marry me? Jamies heart nearly exploded - She was so shocked she didnt even cry! Instead, she let out an accidental squeal, eeeeep! right in his ear as she threw her arms around him, saying yes! It was sealed with a kiss, a hug, and a celebration complete with cookie cake that read she said yes! and champagne cheers all around. It was sweet, intimate, and absolutely perfect!

Rebekah isn’t just Jamie’s sister-in-law — she’s become one of her closest confidantes and dearest friends. From the very beginning, Rebekah welcomed Jamie into the family with open arms and an open heart. She’s the kind of person who always knows what to say — sweet, encouraging, and full of warmth, with just the right amount of silly to make every moment feel lighter.

One of Jamie’s favorite memories is their first road trip together — the kind of experience that could go either way, but for them, it sealed the deal. They laughed, bonded, and came out of it even closer.

Jamie chose Rebekah as her matron of honor because she’s been a steady, loving presence through every step of this journey. With their families growing and their lives so beautifully intertwined, Jamie couldn’t imagine standing at the altar without her by her side.

Jamie met Brianna on Bumble BFF just a few months before meeting Alex — proof that some of the best relationships really do begin with a swipe. From the start, their connection was effortless. Brianna is ambitious, spontaneous, and full of life — a true go-getter with a heart as big as her laugh. She’s fun, fearless, and just the right kind of crazy… which might be why she and Jamie clicked so instantly. They’re like yin and yang — wild in the best ways, but always balanced by each other.

Two of Jamie’s most cherished memories with Brianna is when they voyaged together across sea, and the karaoke nights with Marion, Jamie’s late friend — full of joy, laughter, and memories that now live deep in Jamie’s heart.

Jamie chose Brianna as her maid of honor not just because of their bond, but because Brianna has chosen her, time and time again — holding onto their friendship with fierce love, no matter the miles or seasons life brings. That kind of loyalty is rare, and Jamie couldn’t imagine walking down the aisle without her by her side.

Jamie met Sophie through a mutual friend, Bill W., and what began as a casual connection quickly grew into a deep, meaningful friendship. Over the past three years, Sophie has become a true constant — someone Jamie can laugh with, cry with, and fully be herself around.

Sophie is bold, inspiring, and quietly strong — the kind of person who might seem shy at first, but once you know her, she’s full of life, fun, and a little bit of chaos in the best way. Whether they’re belting out Bad Bunny from the backseat in Orange Beach, waking up to find their phones mysteriously tucked in together, or soaking up a beach trip with their moms, Sophie and Jamie have created a scrapbook of unforgettable memories.

They’ve walked through similar chapters in life, giving their friendship a kind of depth that’s hard to describe but easy to feel. Jamie is endlessly grateful for the bond they share — and couldn’t imagine celebrating this next chapter without Sophie by her side.

Jimena and Jamie’s story began in high school, when Jimena came from Guatemala as a foreign exchange student — but what started as a school-year pairing turned into a lifelong bond. Over the past 10 years, they’ve remained inseparable in heart, even across the miles. They’ve visited each other more times than they can count, including visits from Jimena’s whole family, and every reunion feels just like coming home.

Jimena is Jamie’s soul sister — spunky, sweet, retro, and unapologetically herself. She marches to the beat of her own drum and makes everyone around her feel more alive. One of Jamie’s favorite memories is their beach trip in Guatemala, giggling the whole way there and back with Justin Bieber’s “Despacito” on full blast and absolutely no shame.

Jamie chose Jimena as a bridesmaid because their friendship has stood the test of time, distance, and change. No matter how long it’s been, whenever they’re together, it’s as if no time has passed at all. That kind of connection is rare — and having Jimena by her side is nothing short of a blessing.

Jamie met Lani through their mutual friend Sophie, and what started as an introduction quickly grew into such a fun and meaningful friendship over the past two years. One of Jamie’s favorite memories together is when a simple Facebook Marketplace pickup turned into a spontaneous road trip to New Orleans. What was supposed to be about a chair somehow ended up with karaoke at The Cat’s Meow—Jamie singing her heart out while Lani cheered the loudest in the room. That adventure sums up their friendship perfectly: full of laughter, spontaneity, and unforgettable moments. Lani’s has been such a bright part of Jamie’s life, the wedding day simply wouldn’t be complete without her.

Jamie met Jacqueline through Bumble BFF—only to find out she’s also Becca’s first cousin! From the start, their shared love of thrifting, antiques, and their bond over sisterhood and faith made their friendship feel effortless and meant-to-be. With Jacqueline, every moment is filled with giggles and little treasures, making her presence on the wedding day all the more meaningful and special.

Jamie’s sister Kailey has always been someone she’s looked up to. With six years between them, Kailey has been the best at teaching Jamie “all the things” and guiding her with love and wisdom along the way. Their bond is full of laughter, sisterly advice, and memories that only siblings can share. Having Kailey by her side isn’t just special—it’s a reminder of the lifelong love and support that has shaped Jamie into who she is today.

Marion holds a forever place in Jamie’s heart as her very best friend. She had a way of always knowing what to say—whether it was the perfect advice or the right words to lift Jamie up on a hard day. Marion was also the best karaoke partner, filling every moment with music, laughter, and joy. Though she can’t be here in person, her spirit will be close on the wedding day—every time Jamie sees a butterfly, it feels like Marion is winking at her from the other side, reminding her she’s never far away.

Lennon, Jamie’s cousin and flower girl, has been by her side in fun and mischief since she was little—thanks to all the babysitting and nannying adventures! She’s the ultimate dance party partner and the best little buddy for being silly and having fun. Full of spunk, laughter, and personality, Lennon brings so much joy wherever she goes, and Jamie couldn’t be more excited to have her shining in the wedding and sharing in the magic of the day.
